Abuse of Power

Spent 7 hours on this yesterday in photoshop with my wacom, after digitising the original doodle. Based on a true story about my friend who had a low spec laptop but ran powerful software on it, while I had a higher spec laptop and only read comics and watched movies...when we were suppose to be working together on certain projects, this only happened a few times*. She only had 1GB Ram and Windows Vista BASIC, and she made a lot of advanced motion graphics. Ironically her laptop would freeze only when she used skype...when I was on *hmmm*. I had to update the software list because this was doodled two years ago, and CS3 isn't as good as CS5.

I had to wait for her approval before I uploaded this, I don't know if she found it funny though. Only cared that she said yes...for now. This is her third appearance in The Studio, 1st can be found here [link] . Misspelling of certain words was on purpose for 2 reasons, 1) we usually make spelling mistakes when we work on projects and don't notice them until it's too late 2) I didn't want to get sued by certain companies. The laptop model Optical* ( star represents flare) is an inside joke between us, because she loves to use Optical Flares in everything she does.

On a serious note, Watchmen The Motion Comic, was the first HD video I watched on my laptop. I was seriously blown away by the quality and story. Was much better than the movie. Point's (metaphorical points, not the dA currency) to all who use any of these software.

Screen Share on Skype is an awesome thing, but not everyone knows how to use it or trusts the people who they're doing it with. Sometimes I have to double check I don't have anything incriminating showing, like bad photos....cough cough....you pervs.

DA show me who likes this besides myself Cuz the more you like it, the more she'll let me use her. I would link her for you guys, but she refuses to join dA even though she's an awesome artist. ATM this is the only way you can see her art [link] .

Edit 1: Donya likes it everyone, she found it funny * breaks out the bubbly*. You maybe asking yourself, what's the big deal. The deal is, she doesn't always find my jokes funny, but when she does, its gr8.
